Corn milling constitutes the core of our business. With a longstanding history in this industry, we stand as experts in corn flour production. We manufacture for our brands Soberana and Areparepa, as well as for international private labels. We have the second most important corn mill in the country, which underscores our capacity and commitment to excellence.
Our meticulous process begins with the reception and selection of corn, identifying those grains that meet our strict quality standards. Next, a pre-cleaning process is carried out to remove impurities, followed by storage in silos designed to maintain the optimal grain temperature and ensure effective pest control. Subsequently, a deep cleaning is performed to eradicate any residual impurities, thus ensuring the highest sanitary and quality standards. The clean corn is then conditioned to facilitate its peeling and degermination, essential processes for grit extraction. The latter undergoes a second conditioning, optimizing the conditions for precooking. The grits, already precooked, go through stages of rolling and drying before milling and final sieving, which allows us to achieve the desired particle size.
